What is the plan

DAY 1

Your arrival and welcome from our site at our reception of Lake Peak Apartments 4 *. We will do a brief overview of our tour program. We will test bike equipment, and if you do not have yours, we will prepare the equipment so you can rent it from us.

DAY 2 – 50 km, 1896 m elevation gain, 7-h with stops

We will deliver a fresh breakfast to your apartments in the morning. After breakfast, we will gather at the reception of Lake Peak apartments and start our first biking day. Our first stop will be the church of St. Anton from the 17th century, from where the view of the Pohorje forests and the nearby Koralp peaks stretch. We will descend to the village of Vuhred, which stands by the Drava River and is especially famous for rafting and special Sheikh ships. Here we will have time to refresh ourselves in one of their cafeterias and continue our journey to Janževski vrh. At Janževski vrh we will admire the centuries-old Turkish linden with a circumference of 430 cm. We will admire St. Janez church from the 16th century and experience the energy of the energy points surrounding the church and its immediate surroundings. We will move on with bikes to Kovačija pri Kovaču, where we will enjoy blacksmith culinary and their 200 years old stories of the past. We will return to the apartments and rest in nature.

DAY 3 – 33 km, 1500 m elevation gain, 6-h with stops

We will deliver a fresh breakfast to your apartments in the morning. After that, we will start our second biking day.

The tour will take us along forest paths to the first stop: the Church of St. Bolfenka. It is a 16th-century church, and the legend had it that St. Bolfenk chose the place of the church by throwing an ax in a random direction. Next to the church is a mighty linden tree from the year 1648. It was planted during the Peace of Westphalia, at the end of the 30-year war, in 1648. We will continue our journey to the mountain hut Ribniška koča. Here we will have some time to rest and eat some of their traditional meals. Mountain hut Ribniška koča is an excellent starting point for a hike to Jezerski vrh and Ribniško jezero lake. They are among the most beautiful natural sights of Pohorje. We will continue to lake Jelonovka, a small glacier in the last ice age. We will continue our tour and stop next to the small wooden log cabin, where we will admire the open-air forestry museum – Lepšnik. We will return to the Lake Peak Apartments full of impressions and enjoy relaxing in nature.

DAY 4

End of our bike adventure and fully immersive nature experience.
